I feel complete when i am in my most loved "aurora moment"......doing theatre.....i am in love with the way it teaches us so much about this world....the way how by being fake (actors "act") it shows us the reality,i love the way each character represents someone or something so integral to humans and to this universe.Theatre is a kind of performing art which is an amalgam of various other performing arts...be it acting, music,or dance....it depends on the creativity of the theatre artists to choose what they want to include in their performance to make it more and more enlightening and awakening. Many even use puppetry or ventriloquism.I am new in this world of theatre..and till now with all this variety and colour it has only amazed me.I fall in love with theatre everyday and I fall in love with myself for doing it.
I have a lot to learn right now,i will never stop learning. And i know it is early for me to comment on this beautiful art because i am like a baby who has just opened his eyes in the theatre world. But i will not deny that i am happy and satisfied when i rehearse or perform, and so,i had to write something about this feeling that i experience every time i do it.I feel frustrated and restless when i do not and in the beginning i couldn't even realize the reason untill i resumed theatre again and saw an instant improvement in my mood.It is interesting and amusing because of this.
For now,I am pursuing it as an hobby, don't wan't to make any solid decisions related to it this early.I want to take a balanced approach to it right now.Expose myself to as many opportunities as i can and use my potential to the fullest.I want to first find out what i am actually made for.So for now i conclude by just saying that whatever my future is,whatever i take up as my career, theatre has become my way of living life.
AURORAS ARE NATURAL LIGHT DISPLAYS IN THE SKY,PARTICULARLY IN POLAR REGIONS.THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL,COLOURFUL,RARE AND AMAZING....THIS BLOG IS DEDICATED TO ALL THOSE "AURORA" MOMENTS OF OUR LIVES AND OF THIS WORLD. CHEERS TO LIFE ! :)

SCIENCE vs MASS COMMUNICATION :) :P
Some of the major "AURORA MOMENTS" of my life happened while i studied stuff related to science. I call those moments of discovery and adventure "aurora moments " because this beautiful subject is filled with amazing things we dont know about both, the believable and the unbelievable world. This particular post is about my transformation from a pure scince student to a more versatile one of mass communication...
Science..... a subject which is very much underrated these days, not in the context of amount of studies required to pass it or in the context of career streams that people can opt for,but in the actual practice of "studying" science. Students think that if they read and learn the text along with the punctuation marks of a few thick science books like "Pradeep" , they can say that they are science students. Getting 90 % determines who is the scientitst of the class and whose not. Students are more interested in rote learning the defenitions than doing experiments on their own and finding out answers ! Infact, unfortunately, in our CBSE syllabus, more weightage is given to theory part than to practicals and even in the little bit of practicals that we do we waste most of our time in trying to maintain our "practical files". Our leaders are trying to reform the education system alot (Kapil Sibbal is now like a God to many. :D thank you Sir ! ) but actual reform is required in the attitude of today's children. They need to understand that its not ONLY the books that enhance your knowledge. They need to understand that love for science should be the only reason why one should study it. You should be able to apply the scientific principles in real life situatons and analyse them spontaneously......
I took science (non-medical) for the love of it... when i was in class 10, i didn't know what i actually wanted to do in life but i knew that it wasn't engineering or doctor and even then i took science. But after my boards i realised that i am not the kind of person who can concentrate on just one subject. I wanted a more versatile course in which i can explore the world in a more wider frame. I wanted a career where i can quench my thirst for knowledge as well as my thirst to speak my thoughts..... So, i opted for mass communication. I was hesitant beacause i thought maybe i'll miss all that science has in store for me but i realised that being in this world of mass communication i can actually explore the world more freely....
I am not saying that one subject is better than the other because both are equally amazing but i am saying that love for a subject is defenitely bigger than what the stereotype image of the subject is...and i have always studied what i loved...

My first Post
I decided to name my first post as "My first Post" with a capital "M" and "P" because i wanted to increase the authenticity of this "aurora" moment of my life. Many people will say "Oh,common Tanvi, get a life !...starting to write a blog is an 'aurora' moment for you !!!???"....To them i'd like to say that thanks to today's technology,we can actually write and upload whatever our thoughts are on internet (which automatically displays it to the world !),so yes, it is an "aurora" moment for me because, not really the "masses", but a lot of people tend to read it from different countries...and it excites me to think that someone sitting in U.S.A or Europe or somewhere closer to where i live, like in Noida itself, might read my blog right now ! This one is for people who are reading my blog- "THANKS FOR STOPPING BY AND READING.I WILL TRY AND PUT SOMETHING MORE SUBSTANTIAL,OR INTELLECTUAL LATER.FOR NOW JUST ENJOY ME BLABBING ABOUT MY FIRST POST !!!". The reason why i started to write my blog is that i had nothing to do in the holidays between school and college.Yeah we "lucky" people have almost 4 MONTHS of pure holidays after we pass our school to finally decide which college we are gonna step into with our noble ambitions...So,.I thought in addition to running all over India to give entrance exams of different colleges, roaming in the streets of my city with friends, eating, watching TV,sitting on Facebook and boring my younger sister by yelling "i am bored !!! "....i should actually do something productive and write a blog...So here i am !...Tanvi Dube...first time blogger and a pro blabber on blog spot to blab about the bubbly, blissful, baffling world ! ( the last line can be a tongue twister ! ) .
SO,SEE YOU LATER ALLIGATOR ( aligator is used to make it rhyme) ! KEEP READING...KEEP DREAMING...KEEP GROWING ! :) <3
